JEFFERSON COUNTY: PORT TOWNSEND, WA — Judge Brandon Mack held criminal court on February 20, 2026. The docket included theft, trespassing, assault, and child abuse. Trial dates were set and several defendants waived their right to speedy trial.

Jordan Haltom, charged with residential burglary, will have his case down-filed to District Court, as they met a resolution to enter a contract with Behavioral Health Court. He will enter the year-long program with expectations of sobriety, employment, attending Behavioral Health Court sessions, and passing courses with outside behavioral health contractors.

Soaring Whiteraven Eagle is charged with motor vehicle theft. He pleaded not guilty. His omnibus hearing—a pretrial criminal court proceeding where multiple evidentiary, procedural and discovery issues are addressed at once, rather than in separate hearings—is set for April 17, 2026.

Camille Ehn, charged with two counts of assault in the 3rd and 4th degree of a Washington State trooper, waived her right to speedy trial to have more time to consider the new evidence from the prosecution. Her new pre-trial date is set for May 8, with a new trial set for May 18.

Lukas Hausenfluck was charged with attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle. For part of his sentencing, he was given community service. On February 20, Judge Mack reviewed his letters of completion. As there have been recent incidents of people forging their community service completion letters, which leads to a penalty of perjury, Judge Mack told Hausenfluck he will need to verify the hours with signatures, and to also be clear that those he chose to offer service to were not able to pay him. Otherwise he would have to find a different way to fulfill his hours.

Emma Russell was charged with assault of a child in the 2nd degree-Domestic Violence. She is in active inpatient care. There is a warrant out for her arrest, but no contact orders pose potential complications. Attorney Powers asked to have the case set over one week. Judge Mack approved.

Daniel Griffin is charged with Rape of a Child in the First Degree, on or about July 19, 2015, and July 18, 2017. On February 20, prosecutor Graham asked for a continuance on the child hearsay motion, a reliable statement made by a child under ten, and noted the State has identified an additional witness. Defense Attorney Charlton agreed to a continuance, handed forward a waiver of speedy trial and asked for a status hearing in two weeks. The Court struck the trial dates, set a status for March 6 and will set the child hearsay hearing date at that time.
